
5 Flags That Will Soon Be Banned In Idaho Schools
2025 has been a year of change for many and another major change will affect Idaho schools starting July 1st.
House Bill 41 Goes Into Effect July 1st
Governor Brad Little has taken steps to ban certain flags from being flown at Idaho schools.
"The classroom is a place to foster education and to do so, students should be comfortable and free from partisan politics," the bill's statement of purpose reads.

"Personal political beliefs disrupt the classroom and make students uncomfortable, feel unwelcome, and open the door to bullying if they are in the minority mindset. Third-party flags are an open political statement and do not belong in the classroom."
Some might argue that America is all about freedom of expression and that this bill represents the opposite, especially with the recent controversy regarding the Idaho teacher who gained attention for her sign of inclusion.
