If you're looking to try something new or want to know what people are talking about. Then you've come to the right place. These are the most popular restaurants on Yelp this month.

5. Chicago Fire

Chicago Fire has been open for a couple of weeks but just recently had its official grand opening. This is their first location in Idaho, with multiple locations in California. Chicago Fire specializes in pizza (deep dish or thin crust), wings, sandwiches, and family-style Italian Pasta. It's getting some mixed reviews on Yelp, but that's going to be standard for any restaurant that's working out the kinks. It's definitely a place you should keep on the radar.

4. Maggie Thai Kitchen

Maggie Thai Kitchen opened almost two months ago and is located on the border of Boise and Meridian. They have a 4.8 rating out of 5, with some people calling it the "best Thai food" in the Treasure Valley. They describe themselves as "vibrant and authentic," and what people are saying on Yelp the ambiance is high energy and a great place to eat.

3. Maddie's Wine and Whiskey

WARNING: The picture doesn't do Maddie's justice. It's been in the works for over a year and celebrated its grand opening in early September. Maddie's Wine and Whiskey is an upscale experience but with a cool lounge vibe. It's a good time at Maddie's, with a big outdoor space with cornhole for those who want to play games. They'll have plenty of space for events and private parties. Meridian adds another great location to the area. Yelpers are saying, "Great vibe inside with outstanding food and drinks."

2.  Red Fort Cuisine of India

Red Fort took over what was the Hideaway in Meridian. Red Fort Cuisine has several locations in Utah and has won several "Best Of" awards. Will they do the same here in Idaho?  They've been open for over a month and almost have a perfect rating with a 4.9 on Yelp, with people already calling it the "best Indian food in Meridian." If you love Indian food, don't sleep on this one.

1. Houston TX Hot Chicken

There has been a buzz around this opening for a while. Hot chicken seems to be the craze right now, and they offer everything from sandwiches and tenders to loaded fries and more. From no spice to "Houston, We Have A Problem!" which requires a waiver to be signed, Houston TX Hot Chicken has something for everyone, depending on your spice level. Another spot in Meridian just bordering Star and Meridian.

While we're able to celebrate the trending and new restaurants this month, unfortunately, we've also lost some businesses this year.
