Reinking had all of his guns seized by authorities following a 2017 arrest but it is believed that four of those guns including his AR-15 were the guns used in this morning's mass shooting.

According to KTVB, Reinking was originally arrested for carrying these weapons in a restricted area outside the White House.  His firearms authorization was revoked, guns taken and given to his father.  His father now says that he gave the guns back to his son.

Witnesses identify Reinking as the suspect and say he was wearing only a jacket when he opened fire at a Waffle House in Antioch.  Reinking lived in the Antioch Apartments nearby.

Four people were killed and others wounded before someone wrestled Reinking to the ground taking his gun.  The four dead have been identified as...

  • 29-year-old restaurant worker Taurean C. Sanderlin of Goodlettsville
  • 20-year-old restaurant patron Joe R. Perez of Nashville
  • 23-year-old Akilah Dasilva of Nashville
  • And a 21-year-old woman from Gallatin, Tennessee

The tragedy took place around 3:25 a.m.  The suspect first fired from the parking lot, shooting two men and shattering the glass window at the front of the restaurant before going inside and continuing to pelt the restaurant with bullets, according to police.  The suspect took off his coat and ran away, naked after the shooting.  Nashville Police along with a full SWAT team are on the hunt and authorities have released a full investigation.
