The mosaic artwork that graces the roundabout near the Boise Depot will, unfortunately, be removed. According to KTVB, there was a request for it to be removed and the Boise City Council approved the request with "a heavy heart".

The 4-year-old piece of art is located at the intersection of Crescent Rim Drive and Eastover Terrace near the Boise Depot. The roundabout has deteriorated from weather damage and has lost some of the tiles from vehicles driving over it. Now that it's been approved, the City will move forward with its removal. Such a bummer that such a pretty piece of artwork intended to beautify this awesome neighborhood must go.
