We've got some pretty delicious breakfast options here in Idaho, but this place tops the rest. Do you agree?

I went to Goldy's off of Capitol downtown Boise on Sunday. It's some of the best breakfast I have ever had and totally worth the typical hour to two-hour wait. I got the eggs with salmon and dill hollandaise. Not the obvious breakfast choice, but just the thought of that hollandaise sauce takes my taste buds to a very happy place.

They're also known for their Goldy's potatoes with cheese, peppers, and onions and one dish that I haven't tried, but intrigues me is the Andalusian Eggs which is two poached eggs over Goldy's marinara, baked with ham, chorizo, asparagus, and peppers.

As good as Goldy's is, it's not getting the award for the "Best Breakfast Sandwich" according to a new survey by msn.com. That study shows that Crag Sandwich at Stanley Baking Co. & Cafe takes the crown.

It's egg on a ciabatta roll with bacon, sausage, ham, chorizo, beef sausage, or veggie sausage. Plus you can add brie cheese, swiss, cheddar, or provolone and if you want to go all out you can add caramelized onions, tomatoes, arugula, avocado, and/or roasted red peppers. Seems well worth the drive to me.

Not up for the drive? Another one of my favorite Breakfast spots is Teri's Cafe (formerly Steve's Cafe) in Meridian. Their huckleberry stuffed french toast is to die for.

What's your favorite breakfast spot in the state?
