Bogus Opens Today With 18 Inches of Powder!

I drove by the Bogus Basin office a few minutes ago and the excitement is hardly containable.  People were buying passes and lift tickets and then cheering for joy on their way to their car.  

Bogus Basin Mountain opens today for a partial opening on Friday, November 27th and will remain open for the holiday weekend through Sunday, November 29th.  It has snowed over 25 inches in November at Bogus and will open with an 18 inch base.   There are now four snow making guns that have been making new snow for several weeks.  Coach and Deer Point lifts will be open for skiing and snowboarding and so will Terrain Park at Stewarts Bowl.  Hours of operation are 10:00 am to 4:30 pm on Friday and 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Night skiing will not be offered and there is no public transportation to the mountain as of yet.
