Boise Off-Leash Program Begins November 1
The pups can be let loose!!
The annual off-leash program at select Boise city parks is back.
According to a release from the Boise Public Information Office Boise Parks and Recreation on Nextdoor.com, beginning on November 1, you can take your dog to roam freely at Ann Morrison Park and Optimist Youth Sport Complex.
The off-leash program during the winter months actually serves an important purpose: "[it's] intended to help prevent long-term damage and address public health and safety concerns caused by geese.
Your pups are allowed to be off-leash at those two parks from sunrise to sunset, with some exceptions. They must be leashed while on the "Greenbelt, parking lots and roadways and playground." And of course, remember, if they poop, you scoop :)
