Boise PD Locates Man Who Stole Vietnam Memorial Medallions

Five of the six medallions have been recovered and the suspect is in jail.

Boise police received a call yesterday from someone claiming he'd been given a unique Marine Corp medallion from a relative. Officers contacted 29-year-old Raymond Rubalcaba of Boise and discovered five of the six medallions as what appeared to be small bags of meth.

Rubalcaba was arrested and charged with felony Grand Theft, and felony Possession of a Controlled Substance- Meth.

A big kudos to the person who called in the information.

But, it's not over yet! Police are still looking for your help in finding the last medallion. It is describes as:

larger round bronze medallion, with the words “Republic of Vietnam Service” on it. The medallion also has a Vietnam ribbon and insignia.
