Boise State students have been perfecting their ideas for side hustles this month through workshops and training, and today is the day investors will decide if their products will win.  This could be fun.

Throughout the month of September, Boise State's Venture College has been hosting side hustle workshops, training, and pitch practice, and today is the day it all comes together.

Boise State says students will compete today in a "3-4 minute pitch-off in front of investors, business owners, and the entrepreneurial community. Winners will receive cash prizes."

Some of the best ways to make extra money according to Entrepreneur.com include driving for Uber or Lyft, selling things on Craigslist or eBay, delivering food, renting a spare room on Airbnb, or answering a professional question on sites like JustAnswer.  AND, whatever the Boise State students come up with tonight.

If you want to watch, the competition happens at Venture College (301 S. Capitol Blvd., across from Trader Joe’s) tonight (Wednesday, Sept 25th) from 5:00-6:30 p.m.  The university says registration is free for all students regardless of major or class standing.

Refreshments will be provided tonight, and in themselves, they may provide more ideas for future side hustles. Oh, and what about making stuff to sell on Etsy?  Possibilities!
