It's official, there's some bad blood between Boise State University and the Mountain West Conference. The reason: that new shiny TV deal between Fox and CBS Sports. According to KTVB, Boise State claims that the new deal violates an agreement between the conference and the school that was made back in 2013.

The agreement was made to keep the Broncos in the conference. It called for BSU to make separate deals for TV coverage during their home games. Honestly, they deserved it. According to KTVB, Boise State's brand "consistently made it a team that draws high television viewership numbers, both for its away and home games." So, the deal was made.

According to KTVB, the new deal "happened without Boise State's knowledge and the conference withheld crucial information about the new TV deal and 'deprived Boise State of a meaningful opportunity to evaluate whether the agreement was acceptable or not.'"

Now that the claim is out there, it will be interesting to see how the Mountain West Conference responds.
