Boise Teen Meets Hockey Heroes
The Idaho Steelheads inspired him to play, now James is practicing with the team.
James Davis is 14-years-old, and he has autism. But that hasn't stopped him from working hard to achieve his goals.
After attending a Steelheads hockey game in 2012, James decided to start practicing at Idaho Ice World. After working hard for nearly two years, James, got a spot on one of the Boise Parks & Recreation hockey league teams.
After hearing about his inspiring story, the Idaho Steelheads invited James to the Century Link Arena, where he got to meet the coach, practice with the team, and he even received some team swag AND got his own locker!
