Caldwell Man Beat and Burned Girlfriend’s Kids

25-year-old Luke Ray Baker of Caldwell, Idaho is accused of not just beating but burning his girlfriend's two-year-old daughter and one-year-old son.

Last August, Baker brought the two-year-old into the West Valley Medical Center with a severely infected wound on her left arm.  After some digging, its believed that Baker had been burning both the girl and boy with his cigarettes.

The young girl had to be taken to St. Luke's for surgery because the infection was so bad.  Both kids had multiple burns and also showed signs of dehydration and malnutrition.  The one-year-old also had a severe injury to his genitals.

Baker is being held on a $50,000 bond and is due in court on December 13.  For more of this story visit KTVB.com.
