Carly’s Favorite Christmas Book

Reading Christmas books to my kiddos is one of my favorite things to do around the holidays. Here's my favorite this year!

I was at Fred Meyer the other day and stumbled upon this Christmas book about Boise!

I couldn't help myself! I try to buy a Christmas book for the kids each year and as soon as I saw this I knew I had to have "Santa's Sleigh is on its way to Boise!" by Eric James.

I don't know if it's a very well known book here in town, but it is the cutest story loaded with lots of local mentions about 8th Street, Meridian, Eagle, and of course Boise!

It's been exactly a year this week since my kids moved here to the Treasure Valley, so Christmas time reminds me a lot of that transition and them settling into life here. I love that this book celebrates our beautiful community.
