Chobani to Offer Paid Parental Leave

This applies to mothers AND fathers, full-time AND hourly employees!

The Twin Falls yogurt factory employs up to 2,000 people - all of which will have access to paid parental leave come January 2017.

According to KTVB, the founder and CEO, Hamdi Ulukaya says,

"the vast majority of workers in this country don’t have access to paid family leave when they have a new child,” Ulukaya, said in a release. “That’s especially true when it comes to manufacturing and that needs to change in this country and Chobani needed to be part of that change.”

So, beginning in January 2017, employees will be able to take six weeks of paid leave after the birth of their child, an adoption, or placement of a foster child.

Way to go, Chobani!!!
