Deadly Crash on I-84

One dead and the condition of the other is currently unknown in this deadly crash involving a pickup that rolled several times.

67-year-old Edward Lujan was the driver when something went wrong with the pickup's tires while he was driving eastbound on I-84 in the Sandhollow area.  Lujan lost control, went over the median into oncoming traffic, crashed into a barrier which caused the vehicle to roll several times before coming to a stop.

Lujan has been pronounced dead and his passenger, a woman, has been transported to West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell.  Authorities are not releasing any information as to her condition.  We'll keep you posted.
