Dog Shot at Nampa Apartment Complex

The dog was being watched by a pet-sitter when the incident occurred.

Such a sad turn of events at this apartment complex in Nampa.

According to KTVB, a man shot a "female pit-bull type dog", after the dog was "acting aggressively toward residents" at the Aspen Creek Apartments in Nampa.

The dog was in the care of a pet-sitter, when it got out of the apartment. That person did receive "animal at large" and "nuisance dog" citations

The dog was taken to a local vet, but there is no word on the condition of the pup.
