Evil decisions that these young men will have to live with for the rest of their lives. They aren't even twenty yet, but they stabbed an elderly woman to death in Pocatello as part of a robbery.

18-year-old Dustin Garrett Alfaro and a 17-year-old whose name has not been released because he is under age are both facing first-degree murder charges in the death of 87-year-old Arlyne Koehler.

The murder happened back on March 19th and in recently unsealed documents it reveals that the boys did not know Koehler. She was randomly targeted and was killed during a robbery in her Pocatello home.

According to an article on KTVB, Alfaro is sitting in the Bannock County Jail while the 17-year-old is being held at the 6th District Juvenile Detention Center in Pocatello. Both boys are sitting on a $1 million dollar bond.

Both boys are from Marysville, Idaho which is about an hour and a half northeast of Pocatello. No word on what they were attempting to rob the woman of.

Please use this tragic story as a lesson to teach your kids about the lifelong consequences of their decisions.

We'll keep you posted as this story continues to develop and in the meantime, please keep all that knew and loved Arlyne Koehler in your thoughts and prayers.
