Employees at Filer School District On Leave For Inappropriate Behavior

No names or specifics as to the exact type of inappropriate behavior have been released as authorities and the school district investigate.

All we know is that very serious accusations have been made against three Filer School District employees.  Police and the school district are both conducting separate investigations to make sure the truth is uncovered.  The students' safety is the number one priority.  The names of the accused remain confidential throughout the investigation to protect them and their families in case they are innocent.

At this time we don't know if the employees are teachers or are employed in some other kind of fashion.  Here's a quote from the Filer School District...

"Just as the District has a responsibility to keep students safe, we also have a responsibility not to rush to judgment and risk inadvertently causing harm to any member of our school community.  We would ask for patience and understanding as the matter is investigated.  The District is committed to finding out what really happened and the facts obtained through the investigation will determine the validity of the allegations. At this point in the investigation, these are the only details we can provide. We will update you when the investigation is complete."
