Fatal Crash On State Street

An investigation is under way by the Boise Police Department trying to figure out how a crash went so wrong on State Street and Bogart Lane this morning.

A vehicle rolled over and ended up in a canal just after 6:30 this morning.  The Boise Police Department was notified at 6:51 a.m. and was on the scene immediately.  The vehicle was originally headed west on State Street and somehow went off the right side of the road and crashed.  The driver was the only occupant in the car and he was immediately transported to the hospital where he unfortunately died from his injuries.

Authorities are reminding everyone that ice and frost are forming over night now causing slick road conditions.  Please keep this in mind and drive safe.
