About 2,300 Federal Bureau of Investigation jobs will be moving out of Washington D.C and heading to Alabama, West Virginia, AND Idaho. According to the Idaho Statesman, the moves comes as the FBI seeks to consolidate about 100 data centers into two."

One of those centers is located right here in Idaho. Now, there's already a technical center in Pocatello that has personnel in divisions in investigations, IT, and records management. The new Data Center facility building will be specifically to accommodate for the new employees with data-center and administrative positions. The groundbreaking ceremony for that expansion took place last October.

According to the Statesman, during that groundbreaking ceremony, officials said the  jobs heading to Eastern Idaho and West Virginia would total about 350 positions. No word yet on how many of those positions will be coming to Idaho, specifically, but hey it's still pretty good news if you're looking to work for the FBI.
