I guarantee that this is the best thing you'll see all week.

Just announced this afternoon, St. Luke's has announced that their first COVID-19 patient has been sent home, healthy and well-- after 14-days on a ventilator.

On March 26th, 66-year-old Chris Waters felt so sick, she thought that she was going to die. She called 9-1-1 and it was at St. Luke's that medical professionals diagnosed her with COVID-19, or, coronavirus. Waters had been denied a test at a drive-thru location just days before because she did not meet the criteria to be tested.

Waters has three sons and several grandchildren-- she said it was tough not seeing them while being sick and scary being put on a ventilator like she was. FaceTime allowed her to communicate and introduce those taking care of her to her family.

She spent 14-days in ICU where she depended on a ventilator to survive.

This story is extremely powerful--reminding us how much we should be thankful of our medical professionals and how SERIOUS this virus is.

The video below is one of the best things you'll see all week and serves as such a motivating source of hope for us all in these uncertain times.
