FREE Heavy-Equipment Operator School in Idaho
Looking to switch gigs, now you can get some FREE training.
According to the Idaho Statesman, the Idaho Transportation Department along with Associated General Contractors of America will be offering a free 3-week heavy-equipment training course to fill positions for excavator, dozer and backhoe operators.
The program -which was done two years ago- is especially interested in recruiting military veterans.
How much can you earn as a heavy-equipment operator? Average hourly pay rose 3% to $28.52/hour.
The whole program is at no cost to you (even lodging is free for up to 20 people). Here's what you need to know:
