Goodbye Helen

Yesterday my family said goodbye to an amazing woman.

Over the years I've often mentioned Bob & Helen.  They're my wife's grandparents.  The incredibly in love couple who lives in Enchanted Acres in Naples, FL. Our goal, when we look at our marriage, has always been to one day be Bob & Helen.

Yesterday, Helen left the Earth for Heaven.  We're all heartbroken, but none quite as much as her loving husband, partner, and friend for so many decades, Bob.

The thing that I am most grateful for is that at least our oldest daughter, Tessie, got to meet Helen.  How many kids get to know their Great Grandmother?  What a gift.  Below is a video of a visit we took to Florida in 2009 of Tessie and Great Grandma Helen playing.  Rest in Peace Helen.  You will be missed.
