Spirit Of Boise’s Coolest Part Of The Night Glow In One Video

In case you missed the Spirit Of Boise Balloon Classic Night Glow Friday night, here's footage of what may perhaps be the most impressive moments!

No doubt if you've been to Downtown Boise over the past several days, you've seen some beautiful hot air balloons in the air, but Friday night was the night glow. Thousands of people made their way to Ann Morrison park to see the hot air balloons light up the park, to the beat of the music! Cool enough to make our announcer say, "I'm sorry but this just kicks ass!"

I mean, this was such a beautiful thing to witness... Not just the night glow but the whole event! Four awesome days to enjoy one of Boise's greatest traditions up close and in person for the first time in nearly two years due to Covid-19. There was CapEd kids day where they allowed kids into the balloon baskets but kept them tethered to the ground so they couldn't go too far. Then on Media Day they let the balloons up into the sky for the whole city to see. Then there was the night glow on Friday evening, dawn patrol Saturday morning which is the only time the balloons go into the air before the sun comes up, there were the character balloons and the rest of the fun throughout the weekend. Overall, the return of the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic was a much welcomed event by Treasure Valley residents who have gone a little stir crazy waiting for its return!
