Halloween is one of the best times of the year for people to express themselves and let out all of their freakiness in public. For some people, it's just one day a year, and for others, it's the entire month of October.

The thing is - you'll want to be careful where you let your spookiness out, especially if you plan on rocking a mask.

Recently, this author ventured on a walk to a Boise-area cornerstone for an energy drink to get through the afternoon.

We've all been there, right?

Upon arriving, we noticed a particular sign on the door that sparked this entire article. The gas station was asking people to not wear their Halloween masks into the store. It was a simple request, that at least to us, needed no explanation.

If you expect to walk into a gas station with a Halloween mask and not be mistaken for a person about to commit a robbery, you're sadly mistaken.

Sure, Halloween is all about having fun and pulling pranks, but you don't want to create a situation that winds up on the next day's morning news. Play it safe out there and remember to consider the consequences of the prank that you're eager to pull off.
