Heath Sanders stopped by The Bobby Bones Show to celebrate his first EP dropping today called Common Ground. He talked about going from his career as an oilfield worker to now a signed country artist, as well as performs one of the songs on the new EP.
Sanders was working in the oil field when he posted a cover of Chris Stapleton on Facebook. He went viral for the cover and it prompted a chance for him to come into The Bobby Bones Show studio. He came in the studio and performed for 3 big record label executives in Nashville. Since then, things have gone really well for Sanders. He has since signed to a record label and is putting out his first ever collection of his music today.
He confessed that he will always miss his oilfield family, but he's really enjoying his new music career. During his stop on the show, he performed "Old School's In" from the new EP.
