Historic Boise Building Is Now A Beautiful Boutique Hotel
A new downtown boutique hotel has the charm and characteristics it did in 1910. What used to be an elegant hotel, the Northwest's largest moving picture theater and boxing venue, is back to a world-class boutique hotel, restaurant, and tavern.
According to The Avery website, in 1910, Boise's historic Tinder building offered their guests the best of the early 20th-century experience. The "Blues Bouquet" building is what the building is commonly referred to as because, in the late 1970s, it was a popular music venue.
Today the Avery Hotel offers several different room types with tiled bathrooms with showers, comfortable beds, luxury bedding, and the amenities you would expect in a high-end boutique hotel. Enjoy the Avery Sitting Queen or upgrade to their Main Street Suite.
Inside the hotel, you can enjoy food and beverages at the Avery Bar & Brasserie. From finely-curated cocktails and wines to match the culinary experience was created by a Michelin-starred chef, Cal Elliot. If you're looking for a different experience, located in the back alley of the hotel, you can play pool by the fireplace at Tiner's Alley.
Christine C., who left a review on Yelp, said, "This place is so well designed. So many beautiful details." That was followed up with a review from Kelly B., who mentions a "Really cute restaurant and nice bar. Cocktails are excellent, great service and delicious food. We got the steak frites, ricotta ravioli, oysters, and peach endive salad. All delicious!"
