It's a 160 square foot home that has a bathroom complete with shower, a kitchen area, and a loft space.

This is the third straight year Horseshoe Bend High's kids have built a tiny house for auction.  It's all part of taking Mr. Moore's shop class that teaches learning is a whole lot more than just getting something out of a book.  Experience is where it's at!

The students go through bidding, getting loans, business applications, drawing up plans, and doing the math to make sure it all goes down right.

After the tiny houses are sold Mr. Moore uses the money to buy tools and materials to help fund the next year's project.  The house will go up for auction on May 19 and the starting bid is $14,000.  Interested buyers can stop by the high school and go through the main office before bidding.
