Housing in the US is sky rocketing.  Idaho used to be a place that was very affordable, but recently the market has really sky rocketed in price and it is tough for the average wage earner to pay rent.  A recent report shows exactly how much you will have to work per week in order to pay rent in each state.

This map shows state by state the average weekly hours a person would have to work in order to pay rent.  "There is not a single state in the U.S. where a minimum wage employee working full-time can reasonably afford a one-bedroom apartment at the fair market rent."  That is the study put out by "Attn".  Read about the shortage of affordable housing in Idaho and all states here.
