Two people have stepped down at the West Valley Humane Society in Caldwell after some tough allegations.

The West Valley Humane Society has been under serious scrutiny lately.

They first came under fire in January when a family from Caldwell was told their dog that had been picked up as a stray had been adopted by a family. That was not the case. Truth be told, the dog was put down. A lawsuit was settled with the family earlier this year.

According to KTVB, the shelter will be reorganized and Linda Dripps will serve as the interim President.

Until some changes are made, the Humane Society is looking for volunteers. Click HERE to learn more about how you can help out.
