Ice Cream Inspired By Idaho In Stores Now

Local food blogger, Sarah Wells, was asked to create an ice cream flavor inspired by Idaho for a nationwide contest sponsored by Kroger. Thankfully she stayed away from potatoes, and came up with an amazing concoction that won the competition!!

The winning flavor: HUCKLEBERRY PIE!!!

The ice cream starts with a vanilla base, with a huckleberry syrup, then come the chunks of huckleberry, and to top it off....fresh baked pie crust and a cinnamon streusel crumble. YUUUUUMMMMMM!!!!!

The flavor is only available for a limited time, but you can try a bit a local Fred Meyer stores:
