Even though Gov. Little has announced that Idaho is staying in stage 4 for at least another 2 weeks we are getting some facilities and organizations back in the City of Boise sooner. Several facilities within the city of Boise are beginning to open back up to the public. These places will adhere to mandatory masks, social distancing and extra cleaning and safety. but hey at least they are opening again.

Boise City Hall will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday. This is for in-person services and appointments are encourages as well as, when possible, remote service options.

City Hall West  the Front Desk and Lobby will be Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday

Parks and Recreation Administration Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday to help with park reservations, cemetery services, class registration and more

Fort Boise Community Center The fitness center and gym are still closed to drop-ins but will be open by appointment only from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Fall classes and activities will open as scheduled (registration required - check the website for updates)

Foothills Learning Center will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday. The native plant garden, Story Trail Adventure and outdoor picnic area is open to the public. On-site enrichment opportunities, field trip facilitation, outreach lessons and fall programming will remain open and as scheduled (registration required - see website for details)

Boise Urban Garden School will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday for on-site enrichment opportunities, field trip facilitation, outreach lessons and fall programming as scheduled (registration required - see website for details)

Idaho IceWorld the information line is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Please call (208) 608-7716 for assistance as current ice times vary. They have limited drop-in programs by appointment and limited ice rink rentals by appointment. They are also offering limited Learn to Skate and Hockey Learn to Play classes (registration required - click here to check the website)

Boise WaterShed is now open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday and every third Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The exhibit hall is reopening and the River Campus remains open. Here is the site for deets.

Boise Airport technically has been open but now the conference rooms are available for airport tenant rental. Access restrictions remain in place at the Boise Airport terminal for the protection of our traveling public and airport employees. Check here for updates.

Boise Public Library  WHOO HOOO!!!! ALL Library locations will open to limited in-person services starting on September 28. My son Titus and I love the library so I am very excited about this one! Find out more at the library website here.
