Here locally, according to KTVB there was a group of about 200 President Trump supporters who showed up outside of the Idaho Capital building in Boise. The rally remained peaceful here in the Treasure Valley with flag waving, signing and listening to Trump's speech before slowly heading off. A far cry from the mess that took place at the US Capital. Many places around the country had some sort of rally or protest. Our neighboring state Oregon, had a pretty big clash with law enforcement at a rally in downtown Portland at the capital building, which just happens to be just a couple of blocks from my old radio stations where I used to work. Thank you Boise for keeping it peaceful here.
