Idaho City – Closer to Heaven
We have a little piece of the Old West, right up the road in Idaho City! You can tour some historic buildings and help a kid go to camp! Check this out!
Idaho City has quite a history, a lot of which is preserved in the old buildings and homes that were built a long time ago. There used to be more, but tragically they were wiped out by a fire that wiped out almost one-half of the main street.
You can always drive to Idaho City and see the old buildings that are still standing from the outside, but now you have a chance to see some of them from the inside as well! Your ticket also helps to send a kid to camp!
The tour is coming up from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9th. It's a self guided tour and you can check out eight of the historic and unique homes and buildings in the Idaho City area.
