Thanks to the Idaho Food Bank, thousands of low-income kids in the Treasure Valley will have access to meals they're used to getting at school.

During the school year, kids rely on the breakfast and lunch they receive at school, but when school is out, some kids here in Idaho may become "food insecure". That's where the Idaho Food Bank comes in.

The program is called 'Picnic in the Park.' Through Friday, August 9, kids (ages 1-18) will be able to receive FREE, nutritious lunches Monday - Friday all summer long.

According to Boise Weekly, the meals are absolutely FREE to kiddos 1-18, but adults can stop by and get meals at the discounted $1 price.
