The goal has been set: $1.5 million. According to KTVB, that's how much organizers with The Idaho Nonprofit Center would love to raise for over 500 non-profit organizations around Idaho...in one day! Last year you helped raise $1.3 million, will you be donating today? I've always loved this campaign because it gives us a chance to learn more about group and resources that help so many people in our community.

This year, the event is getting even BIGGER, with several ways to donate and get involved. The easiest way to support a nonprofit is to donate online. CLICK HERE to see a full list of participating organizations (you can even search by name, location, or mission).

If you have a few minutes you can call their phone bank 1-877-IDGIVES (434-4837), representatives from Idaho Gives will be on hand to take your donations. PLUS, this year, you can get involved in person! Make a difference and have a good time while you're doing it. There are two events in Boise happening this afternoon:

Basque Block in downtown Boise- (Idaho Gives headquarters):  throughout the day. Then at 5 p.m., Lost Grove Brewing will host a block party featuring food and drinks, entertainment, giveaways, and get to know more about charities you can help.

La Pointe street in the Lusk District (between Ann Morrison Park & Boise State): Closed to traffic for the all-ages event featuring "food and drinks, entertainment, giveaways, and dozens of highlighted charities for donors to learn about."
