What a great way to get the kids involved in the fundraising efforts.

A total of 104 Elementary schools from all over Idaho are walking for a chance at a new equipment at a city park.

The annual 'Mayor's School Walking Challenge' encourages schools to log the amount of hours of walking by students throughout the month of October. According to KTVB, the top 50 schools will receive funding for new P.E. equipment.

The mayor of the city where the most amount of hours are logged, will receive money to purchase equipment for a city park.

This is awesome!! Good luck to all our Treasure Valley elementary schools!!
