Idaho Ranks “Eh” as Safe State

If you've ever wondered how "safe" Idaho REALLY is, you may want to check this out.

You see or hear the stories about terrorism, night club shootings, hate crimes and other "not such good news" from bigger cities and more populated states. You may say to yourself, "Wow...glad I live in Idaho!"

We all want to be safe. We want our families to be safe. Idaho IS a great place to live, work and raise a family, but according to one study by WalletHub, Idaho could do more to be an even safer place to live, work, play and raise a family.

Out of all 50 states, we're right in the middle. We rank 24th among all states. How did we get that number? They take all kinds of factors into consideration. Assaults per capita, unemployment rate, natural disasters, etc.

So, we've got room to improve, but when it's all said and done, I'll stay here in Idaho. How about you?
