Idaho to Get New Area Code

Numbers with the 208 area code are running out!

According to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, the state could be getting a new area code as early as 2017. They say the phone numbers beginning with 208 could run out by mid 2018, so they need to begin the process now.

Man that's going to be weird!!

Don't worry though the area code WILL NOT DIVIDE US! They say they will overlay existing users with the area code rather than divide the state. phew!
