Idaho WWII Hero Laid to Rest
He was the marine behind the "one-man" assault in WWII
Arthur "Art" Jackson was a true American hero, even having his own 'day' here in Idaho. February 24 is also Art Jackson Day, by a proclamation made in 2016 by Gov. Butch Otter.
Yesterday, he was laid to rest here in Idaho. The official Facebook page of the U.S. Marine Corps honored Capt. Jakson with this awesome video about his life and service to our country.
