The Idaho Transportation Department has approved a huge chunk of cash to fix I-84

A 4-mile stretch of I-84 in Canyon County will see repairs earlier than expected after the ITD Board approved $14 million in funding to fix potholes made worse by the recent storms.

The plan to make the repairs was originally scheduled for 2018, but now with approval of funding, crews can get to work this summer.

The $14 million will allow ITD to repave the I-84 (both directions) from the Franklin Road exit (mile post 29) to the Karcher Road exit (mile post 33).
