Jelly Roll along with Post Malone, performed to a packed Albertsons Stadium last night (Monday, 6/25) and left it all out on the blue turf. It was a historic and memorable night and one that the Treasure Valley will never forget.

Jelly Roll Gets Close With Boise State Before His Big Show

Jelly Roll is no stranger to the Treasure Valley, with multiple visits to Boise under his belt, including his amazing performance at Boise Music Festival a few years ago.

So, it should come as no surprise to anyone that Jelly Roll wanted to embrace his time in Boise with a visit with the Boise State men's basketball team.

"Had a visitor at The X today. Thanks for stopping by @JellyRoll615!", Boise State men's basketball shared on Instagram.

"Thanks for having us," Jelly Roll said to several of the Boise State players as he walked around giving hugs and handshakes.

The team then presented Jelly Roll with some Boise State gear and a special gift before Jelly Roll stopped them to give his team some instructions.

"These boys, whatever they want, bring them tonight. Bring them backstage for the prayer, hook them up with tickets, hook them up with whatever they need," Jelly Roll said of the Boise State players.

Jelly Roll then opened his final gift, which was a pair of LeBron XXII Black Label basketball shoes, leaving him overwhelmed and grateful.

"You know what's even crazier about this, you know what year I was born?" Jelly asked.

"1984," someone says off-camera as Jelly nods. The number is significant because only 1,984 of that particular shoe were made in honor of NBA star LeBron James's birth year of 1984.

It's a cool behind-the-scenes moment of Jelly Roll and a reminder of just how dedicated and respectful he is of the places he visits.
