As all of us continue to navigate our new "normal" amid the Stay-At-Home Order which is now statewide due to the coronavirus, local businesses are also challenged to navigate ways to keep business going as well. For our favorite locally owned and operated places, this can be a real challenge.

Over the last couple of weeks, I have been doing my best to find local spots that are going above and beyond and this week, I noticed the "re-invention" going on over at Western Collective, a locally owned and operated brewery here in the Treasure Valley. Bars, nightclubs, and taprooms are closed. What does that mean for the business and what does that mean for you, the consumer, that simply misses your favorite products? Well, Western Collective found an answer and they're the talk of social media.

For the past two weekends, I've seen what has felt like EVERYONE I know posting and sharing their Western Collective drinks online and clearly, the demand for the local brewery's booze-infused slushies and canned beer is REAL.  By the way, if you're interested in learning more about that.. check out their information post below:

I had a chance to talk to Cary, the founder and owner of Western Collective and while I aired part of our conversation on Friday afternoon-- I was inspired by he and his wife Melissa's sheer determination to make the best of this situation for them and their loyal customers.  Believe it or not, Western Collective has actually HIRED during this crazy time to beef up their delivery operations.  I love stories like this. Check out the full interview with Cary of Western Collective, below!
