McCall Winter Carnival Guide
One of the best events in all of Idaho is almost here! The McCall Winter Carnival is back for the 53rd year from January 26 - Sunday, Feb. 4.
If you've never been this is a MUST-SEE event; organizers offer a big variety of fun events for the whole family. This year, the theme is, "There's 'Snow' Place Like Home" - "a celebration of all that is special about the region of Idaho known as the West Central Mountains."
Along with the popular sculptures made from snow artists from across the west, you can check out a new addition to the event, the "McCall Ultra Sled Dog Challenge." Which-according to KTVB, is a 200-mile course that spans throughout Valley County and is even an Iditarod qualifier.
