How this many administrators from Middleton Heights got together and thought that pulling out a collective costume idea for Halloween of Trump's Wall with the slogan "Make America Great Again" and stereotyping Mexicans was a great idea is beyond me.  Really?  None of these people had the common sense to step back and say, "what are we doing here?"  The answer to that question is NO.  You can see it in the pictures on The Idaho Statesman, they're happy as can be thinking they're about to take home first prize for costume of the year.

This morning a meeting was held where Middleton School District Superintendent Josh Middleton stated that all administrators involved have been placed on administrative leave.  Also announced was that someone from the district’s crisis team would immediately be taking over the principal duties for now.

The pictures that were originally posted on Facebook were taken down immediately but not before screenshots were taken that have circulated and gone viral outraging thousands of Idahoans and Americans.  Parents of the students at Middleton Heights are especially concerned and wondering now what kind of people have been influencing their children.

There was a video posted on Middleton's Facebook Page from the Superintendent that said...

We are better than this.  We embrace all students. We have a responsibility to teach and reach all students — period.

I say WAS because the entire Facebook Page has been taken down.  We've been told that there will be further measures taking place over the next few days including SAFETY, EDUCATION & TRAINING, and an investigation is ongoing.

The public says that's nice and all but you can't undo the damage and trauma that has been done.  We'll keep you posted on this story as it continues to develop.
