Music, P.E. Return to 93 Idaho Elementary Schools

Funding was cut for both programs in 2011.

According to KTVB, the Bonnerville Joint School District will be offering physical education and music programs to 93 elementary schools!

Funding was cut back in 2011 when "the state was reducing education funding due to the economic downturn."

But now-thanks to voters approving "an increase in the district's supplemental levy from $3 million to $5.8 million"-the programs are back.

The money will also be used for other needs at the schools, like new paving and school buses.
