Bishop Kelly High School welcomed 841 new and returning students, and according to KTVB, it's the highest enrollment in its 54-year history. That's a lot of students, and with more students comes a higher demand for new and improved facilities. Luckily, for B.K., they have generous community support that made that happen. According to the Idaho Statesman, the school had "over 300 people generously give and invest in this to make it happen."

Over $7 million was raised for the new science and technology wing that opened Wednesday, making it possible for the new facility to be built without public, state, or federal funds. The new wing has "11 new state-of-the-art teaching labs, five smaller project and independent learning labs, a machine shop, and student gathering space."
