Imagine the stuffing possibilities.

Well folks, my husband and I finally broke into one of our Christmas presents that my mom sent us last year. I know, I know, it's been like two months and yes we are those people. But isn't that how it always goes? You get presents and you either forget about them or you feel that they are way too nice to risk ruining. I'd like to think we were somewhere in between those two places.

Ladies and gentleman, my mom bought us The Stuffler.

It's a stuffed waffle maker, which is where the name Stuffler comes from. At first glance, it looks just like a small waffle maker that happens to be extra tall. Then there's this extra piece that is a tong insert which creates the "walls" of the waffle. And you use it just like you would a normal waffle maker.

The idea is simple, you cook up any raw ingredients that you're going to stuff with and mix up your batter. Then you pour in the bottom layer, load up your stuffing, and pour a final layer on top. Close the lid and flip the waffle. In minutes you have a stuffed waffle.

We kept it simple with just sausage, egg and cheese for the first try, but I think the possibilities are endless. You could do dinner stufflers and dessert stufflers. Of course the instruction manual comes with some recipes, but you could let your imagination run wild. I'm thinking of doing a pecan waffle stuffed with hazelnut-chocolate spread and bananas. Yummmmmm.
