Officers Eyes Attacked

This man tried to gouge an officers eyes out this morning!

It started about 9 am when a 2008 Nissan Titan was pulled over in Nampa at Northside Boulevard and North Broadmore Way.

37 year old Lonnie C. Robinson tried to get away by putting his truck back in gear during the stop.

At this point another officer arrived on scene and tried to keep Robinson from getting away.

Robinson attacked the officers and attempted to gouge out one of the officers eyes with his thumb while scratching the cops face.

Robinson was eventually taken into custody. According to KTVB, Robinson is well known to law enforcement and he has a lengthy criminal history.
