Earlier we reported a fiery crash that resulted in explosions and multiple vehicles coming together in a nightmare accident which shut down I-84 on both sides around mile marker 184 just east of Eden close to the Twin Falls area.  At that time we had no information as to how severe the crash was or what the condition was of those involved but we now know that at least one person is dead and one in the hospital.

KTVB reports that 57-year-old David Wetmore, of Irrigon, Ore. was driving westbound in a commercial vehicle when he for some reason crossed the center line of a construction zone and struck a semi truck which was driven by 39-year-old Corey McCaslin, of Port Washington, Ohio.  McCaslin, unfortunately, died at the scene of the crash.

Westmore was airlifted by helicopter to the nearest hospital.  His condition is unknown at this time.  The Idaho State Police are currently investigating the crash.
